AN ANTI-ARLA group has raised more than [pounds sterling]20,000 in less than 24 hours as they prepare to launch a legal campaign against the megadairy.

Lobby group Aylesbury Chiltern Resistance to Inappropriate Development (ACRID) is fighting the food giant's bid to build the world's biggest megadairy near Aston Clinton.

Leaders appealed to supporters to cough up a whopping [pounds sterling]500 per household for legal representation.

Campaigner Nigel Haywood chaired a meeting at Buckland Village Hall on Thursday, where more than 50 neighbours voiced their opposition to the plans.
