FED:Gillard looks for more cuts, as polls dip

CANBERRA, Feb 7 AAP - Prime Minister Julia Gillard is seeking budget savings in a state
hospital funding deal rethink to cover the cyclone recovery effort, as a new poll shows
Labor's stocks falling.
The government is looking for ways to fund the massive rebuilding effort in Queensland,
after promising not to increase or extend a $1.8 billion levy on middle to high income
earners.
One of the ways is likely to be going back on a deal negotiated by former prime minister
Kevin Rudd for the states …
