Oct. 26--Presentation College's volleyball team took a step toward securing a place in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference tournament on Wednesday night, defeating Minnesota-Morris in a five-game marathon at the Strode Center. Presentation won 27-30, 30-25, 30-26, 29-31, 15-9. The Saints swept the season series against Morris, having beaten the Cougars at Morris earlier this season, also in five games. Presentation coach Raftyn Birath praised her team for the hard-fought victory, saying the contest was a game-by-game battle. After a close first-game loss, she said the Saints stepped things up a notch the rest of the night. "We came out strong in game two," she said. …
